As a family owned and operated business, we listen to our clients – not just at the beginning, but throughout a project. We believe building the foundation of any home or commercial space should start with the people who are going to live and experience in it.
Specializing in older home restoration, we update older homes to a new and modern finish while maintaining their original character and style. With an emphasis on using high-quality, energy efficient materials, we offer everything from roofing to windows and doors, smart siding additions, concrete and custom stonework. We make rooms bigger or make them smaller, lift ceilings or lower floors.
We take care in using a whole-system approach to our design and construction methodologies to ensure a more sustainable home and future.
We take inspiration from both the Arts and Craft movement that inspired so many prairie craftsman homes as well as contemporary design of today to create the highest of quality millwork and trim for our clients. Together we create custom built-ins, cabinetry, ceiling trims, beams, chair rails, crown moulding, wainscoting, and fireplace mantels.
Our dedication to not only quality, but also style, when it comes to our custom millwork is one of McMillan Works' hallmark traits.
Like many of our clients, we know the value of lowering energy bills while reducing our carbon footprint. So we take a proactive approach to the sometimes harsh prairie weather with an integrated, sustainable method to our design and construction of the building envelope, creating a more energy-efficient (and beautiful) space.
